~ how we do it ~
Learn how the magic happens!
We really split and stack wood ourselves! As mom says, Our logs are about as free range, organic as you can get.😄
1
From big backyard oaks...
Our wood comes from huge oak trees right here in our backyard. We have more than 60! When one of those big oaks dies, it gets cut down — and we do the rest.
2
We split & stack...
We split it into logs with a real log splitter (it's heavy!), then stack it up to dry. Oak is the best for burning — long-lasting, super hot. That's why fancy pizza places use it.
3
Then dry it Norweigan style!
We dry our wood the traditional Norwegian way for a whole season — they're famous for this! Burns way longer, no eye-stinging white smoke, and NO chemicals — better than what you’d buy at the store!
~ split with love by three sisters (..and mom and dad)~

~ when you get home ~
Now light the most magical fire you’ve ever seen!
It's the best secret ever! It’s called an “upside down fire”, and you do everything backwards. The fire burns down through the wood like magic. Less yucky white smoke, lasts longer, no poking…great for s’mores!
